Hawaii flooded by Lala with thousands without power
Hurricane Lala weakened to a tropical storm Sunday after skirting Hawaii without making landfall, but it still punished the Big Island with heavy rain and strong wind gusts. More than three feet of rain fell in some places, and all that water turned rivers into raging torrents. NBC News’ Morgan Chesky reports.
